Over the weekend The Massengale Golf Academy happened to stumble upon this article on Golfweek.com. It seems that the old PING Eye 2’s are conforming with the USGA’s new regulations due to a lawsuit PING brought against the USGA in the 1990s. If you currently own a set of PING Eye 2 wedges it is your lucky day. PGA Tour pros are searching high and low for them and have even started buying them up off Ebay. PING can legally re-shaft and adjust the lie and loft, but can’t do anything to the face of the club. For the complete article please visit GolfWeek.
Recently Golf Digest released their “Hot List” honors for golf clubs. The new G15 series and iN series putters were given gold medals. The G15 driver took the honor roll a step further by recieving the Editor’s Choice. You can read more on PING.com

It’s official the Massengale Golf Academy has begun the process of building a Teaching and Regional PING fitting center! Santa was extra nice to us this year and we could not be more excited. You are probably reading that last line and thinking fitting center? Yes, we are becoming a Regional Fitting Center for PING. This means we will be one of only two locations worldwide where you can get the same fitting experience the pros get when they visit PING in Arizona. The building will consist of three bays all consisting of the exact same bells and whistles PING uses to fit the pros. Just to give you a little more detail that means nFlight fitting software, two flightscope launch monitors, 3 high speed cameras, v1 professional, and huge flat screens to watch replays of your swing! If you are a PING addict like we are you can bet that every club PING currently makes will be available for a test drive! We don’t want to give too many more details away, we’d like to keep you guessing , but stay tuned to our blog and weekly emails to see the whole process and exciting additions.
