Cheers From New Zealand!

Howdy! I am currently in New Zealand caddying on the Nationwide Tour for Robert Gates.  We will also venture out to Melbourne, Australia next week.  So far New Zealand has been everything it is hyped up to be.  The views are spectacular, the food is fresh, the air is REALLY fresh, and the thrill seeking adventure is everywhere.

On our first day we took a ride up the gondola to the top of the mountain and watched several people bungy jump.  Let’s just say it is not for us!  While it does not look all that horrifying I would hate to spend the next couple months at the chiropractor.  We also went on two luge rides.  For those of you who don’t know that is like skateboarding while lying down on the side of a mountain.  It was a great thrill!  The main attraction here in New Zealand in jet boats.  The Kiwis have engineered a boat that can go crazy fast speeds and turn on a dime. These boats can literally do a 360 degree turn in the blink of an eye.  Bobby and I are contemplating  about going. I am all in, he’s hesitating .   Not only do they drive the boats fast, but they drive them down a shallow river basin inches away from the large rocks.  For a better explanation Google Shotover Jet Boats.
