Junior
Golf Program

The Massengale Golf Academy Junior Program has been designed so junior golfers of all ages and skills levels can be taught at the level that is right for them. We offer three different levels of group instruction as well as individual instruction. With these options, all junior golfers should have a place to fit in, from the beginner to the highly competitive player. All of our instruction is firmly based on fundamentals whether it is in a group or on an individual basis. Our junior golfers are very special to us because we know they are the future of the game that we love. If your junior has golf dreams, we would love to help them achieve them.

Progressive Schools

The Junior Progressive Schools are for the highly motivated, competitive junior golfer. More coaching is involved in our progressive schools. The goal is to have the student understand what it takes to score under competitive situations. Learning how to get the ball in the hole and realizing that, it’s not about how pretty we look but who gets the ball in the hole with the least number of strokes. We have a very low 4:1 student – teacher ratio in our progressive schools. We address everything from the short game, full swing, course management to the mental side of the game. Probably the most valuable thing we do is the time with spend with the progressive student on the golf course, not only having them execute the proper swing or stroke but to think their way around the course. We believe that if you really want to compete at your maximum potential, the progressive schools we offer are for you.

Summer Junior Camps

Our Summer Junior Golf Camps are designed to give the junior golfer a firm foundation to build his/her game upon. We specifically drive home the fundamentals and begin to tailor their game around his/her athletic ability and physical makeup. Each student is different and has special needs that must be addressed individually. Our 6:1 student – teacher ratio makes that possible. Our summer camps are for the younger golfer, from beginner to an intermediate level of experience. Our goal is for the student to learn a game they can enjoy for a lifetime and in some cases have their game grow to a competitive level. The summer camps will cover all aspects of the game, from the short game to the full swing. Fun is a huge part of what we hope each student experiences at our summer camps.

Weekly Clinics

We run our weekly clinics during the school year. We typically have two sessions in the spring semester and one in the fall semester. These clinics are held on Thursday afternoons from 4:30 – 5:30. The clinics cover all aspects of the game and are geared toward the younger golfer. One subject is covered each week. This clinic is a great way for your young golfer to sharpen his/her skills during the school year and be ready for summer play.
